For anyone thinking about bringing a session to a group.

If you are thinking about bringing a session to your group, this is everything I would ask you. It is here so you can see it before we talk, and so you can forward it to whoever needs to approve it.

About your group.

• A rough size. A range is fine, and I would rather have a guess than a delay.
• Whether the people in the room already know one another. It changes how the room opens.
• What your group is navigating. A sentence or two is plenty.

The room.

• Seating where people can turn to one another. Parts of every session have people working in twos or small groups, so fixed forward-facing rows are the one arrangement that makes it difficult.
• A screen, and a way for me to connect to it.
• A microphone in rooms of more than about forty.

Timing.

Six weeks is the notice I would ask for. If your date is sooner than that, ask anyway. It sometimes works.

Where.

In your offices, at your conference, or online. I will travel, including by plane. Travel and any materials are separate from the fee and always agreed with you in advance.

What you do not need to do.

• Nothing to prepare for Readiness Never Comes, or for Transitions at the shorter lengths.
• Nobody is put on the spot. Nobody is asked to speak in front of the room unless they want to.
• Nothing anyone writes is collected, by me or by anyone else.

One exception, worth knowing early.

I send the assessment out and keep track of who has taken it, so it is not yours to chase. The assessment fee is separate from the workshop fee. Anyone who has not completed it can still attend.
