I am an executive and leadership coach based in Sonoma, California. I work with people at a point where the next step matters: a new role, their own thing, or a way of holding both.
I have always been curious about what moves people forward. It took me longer to turn that curiosity on myself.
For a number of years I was a publisher, with a platform for giving people the information they needed to choose well. Somewhere along the way I started wondering about my own gap, the one between my potential and my performance. When I became willing to look at myself honestly and learn from my own experience, everything shifted. I didn’t just find my own way forward. I found my work.
I have spent a good deal of my life as the person in the room being spoken to, and it shapes how I run one.
My background includes roles as an award-winning Publisher and President, Entrepreneur, CEO and Advisor/Executive Board Member, including service on the Advisory Board for the Cal Poly Pomona Women’s Leadership Program.
I am based in Sonoma, California, and work with clients across Sonoma, Napa, Marin and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Most of my clients already know where they want to go. The work is on what is in the way.
I lead from behind. The client holds the answers, and my part is to help them reach those answers through awareness, honesty and courage. I will not ask you to arrive polished. The work is yours. I hold the space.
What changes is observable: the boundary named, the ask made, the difficult thing said out loud to someone who could say no. Clients describe it in quiet words. Calmer, grounded, more assured.
The body of work is called The Next Best Choice.
If you would like to talk, the exploratory call and One Sentence both start on the homepage.
Out Loud is a letter I write once a month. Short, nothing in it to do, and I never ask you to reply.
I also speak and run workshops for teams, groups and conferences.
